This concept is something I dreamed up one day when I was imagining life as a bookstore owner. We all wonder what we'd be doing if we didn't have our current career and one of my "alternate reality" jobs would be the owner of a small, quirky used bookstore in a vintage storefront.
​
I went with a retro feel using aged, muted colors and a font with a friendly, relaxed character. The logo works well in full color as well as in a solid single color because of the simplicity and legibility. This brand identity positions the business as a retro bookseller and yet it still has a clean, simplistic feel in the way it is presented.
